STUDIO VISIT

“Studio Visit” is a digital video series by Complex that brings audiences inside the personal creative spaces of musicians, visual artists, designers, and culture-makers. Each episode explores the relationship between artist and environment through a blend of interview, visual documentary, and atmosphere-driven storytelling. The goal was to create a visual identity that felt immersive and personal—enhancing each artist’s world without distracting from it.

As Lead Designer and Animator, I developed the show’s visual brand system, including logo treatments, color language, and motion direction, and designed all key elements such as opening sequences, lower-thirds, transitions, and title cards. I also created platform-specific assets for social and promotional use, while collaborating closely with the video team to align pacing and tone. To support an efficient workflow, I built modular templates across After Effects and Premiere with customizable transitions, texture overlays, and kinetic typography, along with a plug-and-play delivery system for editors. Each motion package was tailored to reflect the featured artist’s energy—from slow, atmospheric fades to more dynamic, collage-driven edits—ensuring both flexibility and consistency across the series.
