PLOT TWIST

“Plot Twist” is a rebrand of the Pigeons & Planes “Curveballs” series, originally built around unexpected, talent-specific questions that revealed surprising insights about artists. The new concept expands into a broader editorial video format, humorously reimagining iconic pop culture moments through animation, giving the series more creative range and a stronger identity.

As lead motion designer and animator, I developed the visual identity and animation style, designed all motion graphics and transitions, and built reusable templates to support a fast-paced weekly production schedule. Working primarily in After Effects and Photoshop, I created a streamlined system with pre-rigged transitions and motion presets to meet tight 48-hour turnarounds. The series became a fan favorite, averaging over 100K views per episode, boosting engagement for Pigeons & Planes, and frequently appearing on Instagram Explore.
